Skoliosexuality—sometimes spelled scoliosexuality—is the attraction to transgender or nonbinary people. Transgender people choose a gender other than their biological gender. They may be male, female, or neither. Nonbinary people are neither men nor women. Skoliosexuals might like cisgender persons. Cisgender people identify with their birth gender. Skoliosexuality is a novel term, hence its meaning may vary. Some call skoliosexuality an attraction to non-cisgender people. Some think it solely pertains to nonbinary people's admirers. Some find the skoliosexual classification superfluous or discriminatory. The attraction depends on cisgender status, not gender identity. Some see it as just another sexual orientation like hetero- or homosexuality.
